Thing 7 – November 6, 2009
I’m back! I have been busy with the end of year tasks and today is my first day back with working on my 23 Things. I am still a little unsure of using these sites on the internet. I just can’t imagine that all of these cool tools are free to use. I looked at online generators today and tried a few on the list, but my favorite is the Image Chef. I really enjoyed being creative with all of the cool things you can do with pictures. I used a picture of my dog Max to make a puzzle, ID card, and a trading card. This was really fun!
These generators can be use to create all kinds of images that you can use to teach concepts, promote activities in your library, they can be added to websites, powerpoint presentations, calendars, etc. I’m sure that the ways to use these images are endless depending on the amount of time you have to create them.
This was great and I can’t believe it was free!
