Today I learned about Rollyo. From the sound of the name, I thought this would be some kind of game, but it is another great free tool available to make it easier to search for information.
This is a great tool for teachers and library professionals to use. This tool can be a good resource for providing websites for homework and reference questions to patrons and students. It allows you to add up to 25 websites on a specific subject or topic.
Rollyo is simple and easy to use. It has may options that you can choose from when setting up a searchroll.
I did not get to view the Rollyo website due to the site being under construction for updates.

Thing 14 - Online Productivity Tools
Today I learned about online productivity tools. There were several to choose from, but I chose the iGoogle since I already had created an account. I was so surprised when I went to my page and added some of the new tools to my page. I added sticky notes, to-do list, the weather, and news to my page.
This is great! I even added the countdown to my anniversary below.

Thing 13 - Library Thing
Today, I learned about Library Thing and Good Reads. These are online tools that you can sign-up for at no charge that make it easy for you to keep an inventory of your library books or personal books. I signed up for an account and I think this will be a good way to keep track of all the books me and my other family members pick-up for my 84 year old mother. She spends most of her day reading and since my family is so spread out, we can check the list to see what she has already read.
I also participated in Nicole Engard's online class and though she did a great job of explaining the many uses for this great tool.
