Thing 9 - Sharing Slides-Photos, Databases, and Slideshare

Thing 9 has many great ways to share phontos, presentations and other information. You can set up these accounts easily by entering a few lines of contact information.

I set up a Flikr account and I plan to set up some of my home photos on this account. We use the Flikr account here at NEFLIN and it's nice to have a place where our members can go and share events with other libraries.

Brad showed me how to use the "slideshare" today. I went to the site and found one of David Lee Kings presentations. I am including the link below.

I'm still trying to get comfortable using all of these new tools. Sometimes I'm a little shy about searching in cyberspace.

Thing 1

I finally made it here. After procrastinating for several weeks, I decided that it was time for me to jump in and try new things. This is going to be a real challenge for me. I hope to overcome my fears of the cyberworld and jump in and see what I'm missing. It's like working on a secret mission and you don't know where you are going........hopefully, I will get more comfortable using the resources available out on Web and save time and have a little fun too.
